Our MediaDice® SSD Disintegrators are ideal for high-volume SSD destruction for cloud infrastructure. They use our patented knife-mill technology to break down SSDs into tiny particles. Many of our disintegrators can shred media down to 2mm, helping meet stringent security requirements, including those of the NSA/CSS and DIN 66399.

MediaVise® Rackmount HDD Destroyer

HDDs store large volumes of less frequently accessed data in data centers. These components store data magnetically on spinning platters. To destroy data on an HDD, you need to either alter the magnetic domains beyond recovery (degaussing) or physically pulverize the platters into small, unrecognizable fragments.

The MediaVise® Rackmount HDD Destroyer optimizes the destruction process by bringing it directly to the drives’ source. It can be installed directly into a standard data center server rack, reducing internal transport, manual handling, and associated labor and time costs. It employs powerful mechanical forces to physically bend, crush, or deform hard disk drives (HDDs).

The MVR-HDD allows for the immediate destruction of HDDs as they are removed from servers, enabling faster, more secure and more cost-effective for large-scale cloud operations. With destruction occurring immediately at the source, it simplifies logging and documenting each drive’s destruction, contributing to a more efficient and robust compliance program.
