Environmental Policy

At Phiston Technologies, our company understands the importance of protecting the environment. We have made it our mission to ensure that our operations are conducted responsibly, with a focus on reducing waste and pollution.

As technology continues to advance, so too does the problem of electronic waste (e-waste). E-waste refers to any electronic device that has reached the end of its useful life and is discarded. The rise of e-waste is a growing concern worldwide due to the environmental impact it can have if not managed properly. With more electronic devices being produced each year, the amount of e-waste generated is also increasing.

According to the United Nations, the world generated an estimated 53.6 million metric tons of e-waste in 2019. This number is expected to continue to rise, with projections indicating that global e-waste could reach 74 million metric tons by 2030. The improper disposal of e-waste can result in environmental pollution, health risks, and the loss of valuable resources that could be recycled or repurposed. Large and hazardous waste poses the most danger as it contains toxic materials like lead, mercury, and other hazardous substances. These materials can leach into the soil and water systems, causing long-term environmental damage. In addition, these materials can cause health problems for those who handle them regularly.

E waste - Environmental Policy

As a leader in the data security industry, we recognize the importance of minimizing our ecological footprint and ensuring the proper handling of electronic waste (e-waste).

Our commitment to sustainability begins with responsible product design and manufacturing. We use eco-friendly materials wherever possible and ensure that all of our products comply with industry standards for energy efficiency and environmental protection. This reduces the amount of waste that our products generate and minimizes their impact on the environment.

In addition to sustainable product design, we also prioritize e-waste recycling and reuse. We work with certified e-waste recyclers to ensure that all components and materials are safely and responsibly recycled or repurposed. By doing so, we are able to minimize the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and reduce our carbon footprint.
