Destroy SSD: The MediaVise® Compact SSD Destroyer is our compact desktop data destruction solution. Built on the same robust platform as the MVC-HDD, this Destroyer is a remarkably powerful and compact digital media destroyer. It has specially designed plates with interlocking pyramidal teeth that puncture, crush, and demolish every square inch of the SSD, rendering all data storage surfaces destroyed.
The crusher delivers 20 tons (40,000 lbs) of destructive forces with up to 187 piercings of the SSD media. The fragile ceramic memory chips and controller are punctured, crushed, and serrated on both sides in less than 30 seconds.
The destroyer has a lifecycle of 50,000 usages without blades that need to be replaced or sharpened. Our proprietary hydraulic crushing system is fitted with an array of 187 interlocking steel teeth.
The destruction process is entirely automatic and designed for user safety. The system requires no adapters. Simply insert the drive and press the crush button to begin the destruction process.
