The The MediaDice Solid State Drive Disintegrator-2C (MDS-2C) is a highly secure, knife-mill based disintegrator that sanitizes SSDs and also disintegrates media particles to 2mm nominal edge length or less, which is the standard set by the US National Security Agency for disintegration of SSDs.
It operates hands-free to maximize user safety and all pulverized debris accumulates in a sealed, locked HEPA vacuum canister until safely disposed. This HEPA filtration system traps any harmful airborne particles from damaging circuit boards, electronic components and silicon-based memory and integrated circuit chips.
Product Features and Upgrades
The Phiston MDS-2C has a similar design to the MDS; however, we amped up most of the features to make it the workhorse of the Phiston MediaVice Disintegrators.
The newly designed MDS can handle Enterprise-type SSDs such as Zeus and Xcel. The 7.5 HP motor will destroy most drives from a standstill and has an increased amount of torque to decrease jams in the system.
The autoloader gives you the option to disintegrate SSDs in batches or one at a time.
